Natural Disasters - know your legal rights

Australia experiences a range of natural disasters including bushfires, floods, severe storms, and cyclones. In recent times, the detrimental affects of flooding have been experienced in many parts of Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. In February 2011, north Queensland was also hit with the category 5 Cyclone Yasi.

These natural disasters have impacted many Australians. We have created some useful fact sheets to help you know your legal rights.
