Michelle James is a Principal with Maurice Blackburn and
she manages the Strathpine office.
She has advocated solely for those for whom access to justice
may not otherwise be possible since beginning her legal career in
the United Kingdom over 12 years ago. She is passionate about
achieving a 'fair go' for workers and devotes herself to ensuring
that the people for whom she acts have confidence they have the
best representation and therefore the best chance of a successful
outcome.
Michelle is a Queensland Law Society accredited specialist and
member of the following organisations:
- Queensland State Committee member of the Australian Lawyers
Alliance
- Committee Member of the Sunshine Coast Law Association
- Committee Member of Young Hearts (a fund- and awareness-raising
division of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland)
- Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network, and
